Details of the work done by the initiative:

The Women's Health Centre Graz is an innovative model for appropriate health care for women, for prevention, and for health promotion, centred around the provision of critical information and the promotion of a structure that furthers women's health

- Advice on physical changes in the course of life, gynaecological illnesses and therapies
- Psychotherapy
- Second opinion on gynaecological matters
- Archive, library and information material
- Critical statements and campaigns
- Extensive programme of courses on moe appropriate gynaecology, pyschological health, movement/experiencing the body, early diagnosis of cancer, sexuality and self-help
- Further training for multipliers

Participation of the target group concerning the conception, planning and implementation of the initiative's work:

- Systematic documentation and Feed-back of all suggestions
- Collaboration with active women in church parishes, women's groups at courses and events.

Co-operation:

Since the beginning we have been cooperating with the network of Austrian Women's Health Centres and about 15 other networks throughout the EU. This results in extensive exchanges of information and material and collaboration on concrete projects.
