The initiative was founded in: 1984
The initiative was founded because of the following reasons:

Improving the situation of women, including that of elderly women (as of 1991)

Target group(s): Women living alone (widows)

Problems that the initiative has been faced during its work:

Social work with senior citizens (specifically the Senior Citizens Council) is dominated by men. The Federal Law on Senior Citizens does not include smaller initiatives.
