Content and framework conditions of the project work
The initiative was founded in: 1997
The initiative was founded because of the following reasons:

A women's health focal point was established on the occasion of the "Year of the Senior Citizen" and the "Healthy Cities Project" aimed at promoting municipal cooperation.

Target group(s): Women in their middle-years and older single women, women with partners
Targets: Enlightenment, information, overcoming inhibitions, recognising needs and desires, overcoming prejudices in society
Details of the work done by the initiative:

Panel discussions are organised with experts such as Oswald Kolle, Kirsten von Sydow, Sieglinde Fedel and Ruth Eichmann.
Regular cooperative preliminary meetings take place when preparing for such events.

The response has been positive. We have been requested to organise further discussions of this kind. Pro Familia experienced an increase in inquiries on the theme of sexuality.
