Status of the initiative: The initiative is an initiative aimed at improving equal opportunities for older women through an organisation that pursues objectives which are independent of gender or age.

Content and framework conditions of the project work
The initiative was founded in:
The initiative was founded because of the following reasons:

A course director developed this initiative for women in her age group.
Target group(s): The target group is women 45 or older. The average age of the participants is usually 55.
Targets: Women reflect their everyday life with its beautiful as well as its burdensome sides, and they receive support from others who share their situation.
Details of the work done by the initiative:

A meeting takes place one evening a month from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Participants should preregister for 5 meetings at a time. Discussion groups deal with themes such as
- Women let go - women set off;
- Opportunities and problems in the family and at work;
- Forming relationships: Partners-Children-Parents...;
- Living alone - being lonely;
- taking leave - ways of mourning - new beginnings;
- Menopause - dealing with illness;
- Growing old.

Individual women have been participating in this initiative for some time.

We have financial problems, since raises in instructors' pay immediately result in increased course fees.

The topics dealt with by the discussion groups are decided by the groups themselves.
