Content and framework conditions of the project work
The initiative was founded in:
The initiative was founded because of the following reasons:

A lobby for women who have passed midlife scarcely exists. We are a women's collective that supports women in need and that creates initiatives for women and their children in need.

Target group(s): Women past midlife in crisis situations
Targets: We aim to help socially disadvantaged women, young people and children to combat loneliness and isolation, to help people to help themselves, and to promote solidarity and mutual help among the women involved.
Details of the work done by the initiative:

We provide women going through difficult times with advice, counselling and support. These include offers of help and a range of services.

Areas of work of the initiative:
Social contacts
Migration
Unemployment among women
Success that the initiative has achieved:
Problems that the initiative has been faced during its work:

We see ourselves as a lobby for women in difficulties, on a regional and local level, and must always fight for financial support. Publicity work is difficult.

Participation of the target group concerning the conception, planning and implementation of the initiative's work:

The target group plans, prepares and carries out the activities themselves.

Co-operation:

Since 1994 we have been networking and co-operating with the umbrella organisation of the Sozialwerk des Demokratischer Frauenbund Deutschlands e.V. (Social Work organisation of the Democratic Women's Association of Germany, A Registered Charity).
