Content and framework conditions of the project work
The initiative was founded in: 1997
The initiative was founded because of the following reasons:

A place should be created for widows in our society, a place where they can receive support and voice their concerns, in addition to the facilities provided by our social services in general.

Target group(s): Widows.
Targets: To provide warm-hearted, friendly support to widows, to help them to better overcome their grief, and to support them in their struggle against social isolation.
Details of the work done by the initiative:

Conversation groups, social rehabilitation groups, discussion groups.

Specifically we offer:
- The Tuesday group for women whose husbands have recently died and who are still suffering from the loss;
- The Friday group for widows who have got over the grieving stage: these meetings are more light-hearted and are designed to overcome social isolation.

Areas of work of the initiative:
Social contacts
Provide a shoulder to lean on and a sympathetic ear
Success that the initiative has achieved:

Effective help in overcoming grief.

Problems that the initiative has been faced during its work:

To persuade the woman to participate in a group, once we have established contact with them by telephone.

Participation of the target group concerning the conception, planning and implementation of the initiative's work:

We do not expect any participation of that kind.
