| Abstract: ZWAR (German abbreviation translatable as Between Employment And Retirement) sets up and supervises women's groups. Under the heading "Help Towards Self Help" the work of the ZWAR women's groups focuses on facilitating and intensifying encounters that lead to a high degree of committment and are oriented around the individual needs and situations of women. The aim is to maintain and promote self-help, initiative of one's own, and self-organisation among the older women concerned. |
