| Abstract: Over the course of ageing, the necessity for people to individually
reorganise their everyday lives often proves to be an almost insuperable task. New daily
routines have to be devised to replace their previous habits. The successful inauguration
of an individual time-plan results in them experiencing their lives as normal and
satisfying. This study examines the lives of 70 to 80-year-old women and their ways of
organising their time. Their respective life-styles in old age reflect the sovereignity
they have acquired throughout their lives. |
