| Abstract: This is the concluding report on an interdisciplinary research project
dealing with the care provided by older women in the family. The report provides a
detailed description of the care given by wives to husband at home in their old age. A
wide range of instruments has been used to ascertain the respective older women's state of
mind, the care they provide, their state of health, the strain they suffer, the strategies
they develop, their social situation, and the help that they avail themselves of. |
