Equal Opportunities for Older Women

Experiences with violence are a part of women's everyday lives and are an indication of social inequality between the sexes. It is precisely in the lives of old women that one can observe how violence is woven into the structure of social reality, leaving its mark on women's lives - especially on those of older women. This interdisciplinary study attempts to bring together approaches based on, and the insights of, women's studies and social gerontology.
